Here at J & N Shoes in Lamar, CO, we limit our staff to just seven people. This ensures that every staff member is specially trained, highly knowledgeable, and able to give you the personalized experience that sets J & N Shoes apart from an average big box shoe store.

All of our employees are carefully trained in how to fit a shoe properly and how to offer the correct shoe for your specific activity (running, walking, working, etc.), and each one has a vast knowledge of the products and services we offer.

Serving Lamar, Colorado for Over 50 Years

J & N Shoes first opened its doors in 1961. In response to the changing needs of our customers, in 1992, we expanded by cutting a hole in the wall to the north and launching our sporting goods store, Mr.D’s Sports, which carries athletic shoes and apparel. Here, you’ll find shoes for every sport, as well as a variety of hard goods, including bats, baseball mitts, sports bags, and more. It’s the perfect mini-sporting goods store offering exactly what our customers need, without a lot of things they don’t.

For your convenience, we also offer tuxedo rentals for weddings as well as prom season. We even have a screen printing department that offers printing for schools and organizations, such as family reunions, fundraisers, and more. We cater to the unique needs of our small town, offering a wide range of items for the many wonderful customers who have kept us in business all these years.
